"Edelliskauden pelaajapuutteen huolimatta Aalto volley teki paluun miesten aluesarjaan kaudelle 2023-2024. Joukkueen yksilötaso oli kova, kuitenkin uusi kokoonpano osoitti pelit haastaviksi. Miesten aluesarjajoukkue päättyi sarjan 11. sijalle lukemin 5 voittoa, 3 tasapeliä ja 16 tappiota. Kauden aikana pelit nauhoitettiin suoralla lähetyksellä seuran YouTube tilille. Muutamista kohokohdista peleistä julkaistiin YouTube “shorts” videoita, jotka saivat yllättävän paljon katselukertoja. Miesten aluesarjajoukkue piti omia treenejä Taavinkylän koulussa ja Lintulaakson koulussa. Lisäksi kauden keskivaiheessa alkoi joukkueen säännöllinen omatoiminen punttitreeni Otaniemen lukiossa ennen seuran rentovuoroa."

Reinvigoration. The men's representative team, AALTO, re-entered the Regional series with some new energy. Though the matches started tough for the newly built and inexperienced roster, their display of dedication and increased social media presence yielded in steady improvement in the team, but more importantly, paved the way for large growth in the entire club.
The team's eventual placement doesn't give justice to the progress made and the conventions built over the course of the season. The future was indeed looking bright.

"Aalto-Volleyn aikaisempien vuosien aluesarjajoukkueen pelaajamäärä oli kauden 2022-2023 alussa epäselvä. Tämän vuoksi päätimme mieluummin osallistua paikallissarjaan, jonne pystyimme paremmalla varmuudella rekrytoimaan lisää pelaajia. Joukkue pärjäsi sarjassa hyvin ja päättyi yläjatkosarjan 6. sijalle. Sarjavoittajan ainoa tappio oli Aalto 2 vastaan. Joukkue järjesti myös sisäiset pikkujoulujuhlat JMT:n kattosaunalla."

A step back. As an aftermath of the partially played pandemic seasons, the somewhat aged and demoralized Regional team suffered large player losses and thus could no longer keep up with the high level demand of the Regional series. Eventually, it came down to a select few players who chose to keep the ship afloat. As exactly half of the roster was successfully recruited from new players, it was time to rack up some experience in the Local series under the name AALTO 2.

Running out of steam. After two half-cut and dissatisfying seasons, the team consisted mostly of the same players, many of which were starting to graduate and move onto other activities. The current recruitment channels were small. The entire club, which was now two teams instead of just one, was ran primarily by a few overworked individuals within the Regional team.
The team was fatigued, and it was showing in the results. It was even debated whether the team could continue existing. Some change was needed.
Though the future was uncertain, the bond between the players never wavered. The team had done something meaningful here, and that was already worth a lot.

AALTO - RÖHKA, Taavinkylän koulu 11.2.2022
The pandemic year. The team played a total of six matches until the season was discontinued. While the love for the game remained, some essential wind was taken off the sails.
The pandemic's effects were also shown in the size of the series, causing a total of four teams to drop out indefinitely.
This season also happened to be the first time in history when Aalto-Volley founded a second team - the men's Local series team - causing both teams to continue with the name AALTO in their respective series'.

Going strong. The Aalto-Volley team was quite successful in the men's Regional series. Even though the their final three matches were never played due to the starting pandemic, the team finished in a respectable 9th out of 18 teams.

A new wave. (See what I did there..?) It was truly a time of change. The Southern Finland Volleyball Region overwent a full overhaul as the previous 3rd, 4th, and 5th divisions were combined into the new Regional and Local series'. And while all the Southern Finland teams were finding their spot within the new structure, so too did the entire club change drastically.
It was the official birth of Aalto-Volley, who was only a few months ago known as PUS-Volleyball. Alongside the name change, the team orchestrated an order of clean white jerseys to represent the new beginning.

Throughout the years, the PUS-Volleyball team has been quite successful in the men's 5th division volleyball series. They played in their traditional black and orange PUS colored jerseys. The archive in Torneopal can currently be reached until 2014, though the team is estimated to have played there since 2002.
